During Brittany's stay at HMHI, she earned three Associate Degrees of Applied Science. Brittany has an 18 month old son and she says that the program helped her stay focused on her son, get her life together and complete her education. She also said that while she was at HMHI she learned how to live a structured life and above all else, she learned how to respect herself. |

Alex and his three children Yulisa, Adrian and Monique have been with HMHI for 3 years. Alex has already received his Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and is working towards his Master's Degree in Social Work. He currently is employed part time by Big Brothers/Big Sisters and plans to work with troubled inner-city youth after completing his education. |

Deana just graduated from Kaplan University with a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice. Currently she is working at Annie Whitenmeyer with troubled youth as a remedial skills provider. Her goal is to own her own daycare and provide care for special needs children. |

Angela and her four children came into HMHI in October, 2008. Her goal is to focus on job stability. Angela says that the HMHI program has given her the confidence to do things on her own. She recently got a job at a local bank and she loves it. She says it's the best job she's ever had and she looks forward to every day now. |

Jennifer, a former HMHI participant, is now attending the University of Iowa. She has relocated with her son Preston, but keeps in touch and we are very proud of her accomplishments. She is shown here proudly displaying the traditional dress from her family's Native American heritage. |

Jacquelyn and her son James keep very busy. Jackie works full time as a C.N.A. and James is very active in sports and activities at school. Besides work and school, Jackie enjoys planting and caring for her flowers and caring for a yard that she is proud of. |
