HMHI is excited to announce that we are moving! By October 1st we plan to be relocated at 3805 Mississippi Avenue in Davenport. Details will be reported in our Annual Report coming out in August. If you would like to volunteer to help us in our preparation and/or move, please contact Sandy Walters or Doreen Simons at 563-326-1330. We need lots of help to make it happen! |

Nikita, shown with son, Sebastian, is a full-time student at St. Ambrose University. She has an impressive vocal talent and recently earned a solo in the St. Ambrose choir. Nikita says she is looking forward to her time at HMHI. She says that as long as she is involved with HMHI, she knows she will have a support system to assist her and encourage her efforts to raise her son and help her on the road to self-sufficiency. |

Deana just graduated from Kaplan University with a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice. Currently she is working at Annie Whitenmeyer with troubled youth as a remedial skills provider. Her goal is to own her own daycare and provide care for special needs children. |

Angela and her four children came into HMHI in October, 2008. Her goal is to focus on job stability. Angela says that the HMHI program has given her the confidence to do things on her own. She recently got a job at a local bank and she loves it. She says it's the best job she's ever had and she looks forward to every day now. |

Jennifer, a former HMHI participant, is now attending the University of Iowa. She has relocated with her son Preston, but keeps in touch and we are very proud of her accomplishments. She is shown here proudly displaying the traditional dress from her family's Native American heritage. |

Jacquelyn and her son James keep very busy. Jackie works full time as a C.N.A. and James is very active in sports and activities at school. Besides work and school, Jackie enjoys planting and caring for her flowers and caring for a yard that she is proud of. |
