Sandy Walters, LISW, MSW is the founding Director of HMHI and has been with the agency since 1990. "I have watched the agency grow from a four-plex with four moms and their infants to a program that has 47 apartments and has served 612 families with a total of 1197 children!"

Kelly Thompson Reyes, is the new Assistant Director of the agency. She shares her time between HMHI and HMSI and her primary focus will be grant writing.

S. Mary Ann Vogel,CHM, MBA is a member of the Congregation of the Humility of Mary who founded Humility of Mary Housing, Inc. For 10 years she served as site manager for the families in which the parents are in recovery from substance abuse. Since 2001 she has been serving as Finance Director, property manager and chairs the Development Committee.

Karen Scott, MBA is the new Assistant Finance Director. Karen shares her time between HMHI and HMSI working closely with S. Mary Ann in all aspects of finances.

Dawn Cameron, B.A. in English & Communications and A.A. in Health, Safety & Environmental Engineering. Dawn joins HMHI working with Quality Control & Assurance She will be working closely with HUD and will keep HMHI's files and reports in order according to government reporting requirements.

Doreen,BSW has been with HMHI since October of 1995. "As I come up on the start of my 14th year with HMHI this fall, I feel as though I have been blessed many times over as the participants, staff and the agency as a whole have brought so much to my life. It has, and continues to be, an honor to be part of HMHI."

Sandy D.,BSW, has been a Service Coordinator at HMHI since May, 2000. She works with families at our substance abuse recovery site and with the general population.

Teresa, BSW, graduated from the University of Iowa in 1999. She started working for HMHI in November 2001 working with the teen parents and families impacted by mental illness/brain injury, chemically dependent and the general population.

Maria, BSW, has been with HMHI since July, 2005. As the Intake Coordinator, she processes the applications and conducts the applicant interviews. She is also a Service Coordinator, working with some of the families at our substance abuse recovery site.

Amanda, B.A. in Psychology, has 5 years experience in child welfare and substance abuse and now works with our families at the recovery site.

Mindy,WebMaster, has been with HMHI for over 6 years as the office manager. She provides staff support, maintains the agency FaceBook page, does data entry for statistical reports, provides agency IT support, organizes Christmas adoptions and gift distribution, and most recently has taken on the task of Webmaster and Social Media Specialist for HMHI.

Allenhas been a Maintenance Engineer with HMHI for 9 years. He is responsible for the upkeep of properties, city inspections, furniture pickups, special volunteer projects, general maintenance and much more.

Erichas been a Maintenance Engineer with HMHI for 7 years and is also responsible for general maintenance of properties, furniture pickups, volunteer projects, city inspections and upkeep of properties and much more.

Kate Kingis the Property Manager for both HMHI and HMSI. She holds a master's degree in organization leadership with a focus on human resources. "I feel like I'm working in a house of miracles."
